Road trips offer the best view of America. Small towns, cities, strange roadside attractions, and a few cows make for a better understanding of our country. We love to take back roads and enjoy the Mom & Pop establishments along the way. Fly and rent a car or just take the weekend trip from home. We always discover things that we have not seen before. The long straight road through a desert can be very boring or give one time to reflect and escape the complexities of life.
We have camped in a variety of ways over the years, backpack, tent trailers, RVs and trailers. It seems like we have gone full circle and once again want simplicity and have less need for lots of stuff. That being said, sleeping on the ground days are far behind us. After much searching we settled on a Roadtrek Simplicity van. Perfect for two, easy to drive and comfortable.
